Sara Renar's Pustinja / The Desert is a bilingual (Croatian/English) single from her album Nježne rijeci. Composed by Dimitrije Simović to Renar's lyrics, it was produced and sound-designed by Jan Kincl and Renar, mixed by Kincl at Cycle Studio Zagreb, with mastering by Sven Weisemann. Later reimagined in the Jan Kincl remixes. Out on Croatia Records, 7 November 2025.

"Musically it's a mash-up of Cooder and Lynch's games — there's some of the Goribor discography in there too. She maps the home-grown karst desert onto his 'Lost Highway'; instrumentally it leans, finely and to striking effect, on Southern-American consolations and the slides of dusty boots.
