Trigger's Broom is the single announcing Ivan Komlinović's debut album, Hit The Gate, on PDV Records. For the EP, Komlinović invited three remixers — Luka Tralić "Shot", Sessiondigger and Jan Kincl — to rework the track. Kincl delivered two versions, a full remix and a stripped-down "Chord Tool", both produced at Cycle Studio Zagreb. Released on PDV Records, 3 May 2024.

"Nearly thirty years into his career, Ivan Komlinović — a Zagreb DJ, audio and mastering engineer and producer — has built a regional reputation on a diverse but fundamentally techno-oriented sound. With more than fifteen vinyl releases plus a host of digital records, compilations and remixes behind him, the studio is his natural habitat. While most of his sets lean toward techno — Detroit techno, deep techno, acid — he often surprises audiences with minimal techno/house melodies, treating chronological and stylistic boundaries as outdated. 'My debut album Hit The Gate wasn't initially conceived as an album. It's a techno collage of tracks of different colours and shapes, whose natural habitat is a dark club with a powerful sound system — a kind of love letter to a musical aesthetic and to the idea that is still the foundation of what drives me as an author and a performer,' says Komlinović.
