Looking South is a straight 4/4 house album by Ishfaq, the Anglo-Irish producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Zagreb, released on the South African label Do It Now Recordings on 5 December 2025 (DIN087).

Written and first performed as a live show, the album kept that live feel on purpose. Ishfaq played and recorded all of it himself as first takes in his home studio — fat kicks, 909 claps and driving synth bass under jazzy Rhodes, off-kilter synths, live drums and improvised solos, with a sprinkling of metallophone and kalimba. Rough, raw and organic by intent: house music with fingerprints on it.
