Marla Glen grew up on Chicago’s South Side, started on harmonica at five and spent years on the road across the United States — including a stretch in California working for Nina Simone as assistant, driver and all-round support. The European breakthrough came in 1993 with the album This Is Marla Glen and the single Believer, which reached a mass audience in Germany through a C&A campaign; the record went gold and platinum and held the German album chart for 59 weeks. Prove All Your Lovin’ comes from the 2020 album Unexpected. This club mix is part of the Remixpected Edition, a series that rebuilds songs from that album for the floor, and it was made at Cycle Studio Zagreb. Out on Mohr Publishing, 31 March 2023.
