PDV Records announce compilation to raise funds for victims of the Croatian earthquakes (Ransom Note)
PDV Records have announced a benefit compilation, 'Healing Sounds', to help raise funds for those impacted by the earthquakes in Croatia over the last year. Today they share a new collaboration between Petar Dundov & Ilija Rudman titled 'Morning Glory', the first single to be taken from the release which gathers artists from across the country.
Compiled by Nenad Barić and Jan Kinčl, it features exclusive music from Zarkoff, Andrea Ljekaj, Laseech, Regis Kattie and many more, which will be released on 22nd March in line with the anniversary of last year's Zagreb earthquake. The second part of the vinyl release will be released after the summer, with new exclusive songs, which will subsequently be added to the digital edition of the compilation.
The total revenue generated from the compilation will be donated to the SOLIDARNA Foundation for assistance to earthquake victims in Sisak-Moslavina County.
'Healing Sounds', the 1st single released, funding campaign has started (PDV Records web site)
The first single that announces benefit compilation album 'Healing Sounds', with the goal of collecting financial help for the damages of earthquakes in Croatia during the last year, has been released today. It is first ever song made together by Petar Dundov & Ilija Rudman 'Morning Glory'. You can listen to it at PDV’s Bandcamp profile, and also purchase a pre-order of the whole album that is coming out exactly one year after Zagreb’s earthquake, on Monday, March 22nd.
At the same time, a funding campaign to raise financial help has been started at GoGetFunding platform, with a few different perks through which you can secure your favorite album format, and/or donate for those in need → https://gogetfunding.com/healing-sounds.
Let's remind, the electronic scene has also gathered in an initiative to collect aid for the victims of earthquakes that have hit Croatia in the last year. At the initiative of Nenad Barić and Jan Kinčl, domestic producers gathered, enclosing their works for a compilation of the appropriate title: Healing Sounds - Croatia Earthquakes Relief Project.
The compilation will be released in digital format, as well as on vinyl in two parts. The compilation album contains exclusive compositions, and it currently contains (in alphabetical order): Andrea Ljekaj, Antonio Zuza, Disrupted Project, Egoless, Fabris Audio, Insolate, Ivan Komlinovic, Jan Kinčl & Regis Kattie, Kodin, Koolade, Le Chocolat Noir, Laseech, Microslav, Qwerty, PEZNT, Petar Dundov & Ilija Rudman, RFMN, Sergej Snooze, VRH, Zarkoff.
The announcement singles will be released further in February and March, while the release of the compilation is planned for Monday, March 22nd, or more precisely on the anniversary of the Zagreb earthquake. The compilation will be published that day exclusively on the PDV Records Bandcamp profile, while it will appear on all other services, as well as on vinyl, during April.
The second part of the vinyl release will be released after the summer, with new exclusive songs, which will subsequently be added to the digital edition of the compilation. Vinyl releases will also have an additional note of dedication and a farewell with the Sirup Club (2009-2016).
