Slurp! festival will most certainly remember its tenth birthday. The day before it was due to begin, the authorities revoked the originally issued permit for the announced dates and replaced it with a new one allowing the event to go ahead with the programme ending at midnight. After an instantly reached consensus with the artists and other collaborators, the organisers found themselves having to prepare and pull off, in less than 24 hours and for the first time in the festival's history, a rave under the scorching midday sun in the middle of Dalmatia. In already rather difficult circumstances, with a covid certificate check system and an antigen testing point, alongside the new measures brought on by the epidemic. The two-day festival programme was squeezed into a single all-day event lasting 18 hours in total, with minimal changes to the running order.

On the Healing Sounds stage, taking turns were: Bebetto, Le Chocolat Noir, Ilija Rudman, Petar Dundov, Sergej Snooze, Qwerty, Funk Guru, Jan Kincl, Ivan Komlinović and SugaDaddy. All the artists delivered excellent sets, even under the extreme conditions of high summer temperatures, on what was reportedly the hottest day of the summer so far.

Don't miss 'Healing Sounds - Croatia Earthquakes Relief Project', a charity compilation album by the local electronic scene featuring some of the artists presented:

Šibenik enthusiast Dražen Frua spent days and nights preparing a true oasis of Čudna muzika, a stage that hosted, in turn:Session Digger, Foxy, Carnero, Miyagi & Matt Demon, Petra Elza & Dino, Darkman, Mradar, DJ FrenkyBoy, Edy C, Bake, Chuddak, Fikcio Monger, Tomislav Rupic. Each and every one of them delivered excellent sets, with an atmosphere that was consistently one to remember, backed by the scene that Dražen and his Čudna muzika are always there for. Unlike the authorities, the people of Šibenik and other visitors wholeheartedly supported the Martinska site in Šibenik, as well as Slurp! festival's birthday celebration in impossible conditions, seeing it off with ovations.
