In June 2025 Mixmag Adria covered the third release on the Cycle label — “If You Don’t Get It, It’s Not For You”, an EP by Jan Kinčl, the label’s founder and artistic editor. As the piece notes, the wryly titled record is a DJ tool release: eight extended beat versions drawn from tracks across Jan’s catalogue.
What the piece covers
The item traces where each beat comes from. “Nježne Riječi Beats” derives from Sara Renar’s “Nježne riječi”, made with Dimitrije Simović, released on Croatia Records in 2024 and recorded at Cycle Studio, where the beat version was exported after the mix and part of the production. The “Sugar” beats trace back through the 2024 Deep Inspiration Show Records release “Love’s So Far Away” to the 2021 EP “It’s Been A While” on Save The Groove Records, and “LA Rework” comes from a 2021 PDV Records compilation.
