Tena Šarčević surveys five notable Croatian electronic releases — Laseech, Andrea Ljekaj, Petar Dundov, Jan Kinčl and Ilija Rudman. The Kinčl entry marks the founding of Cycle Records: For A Minute is its first release.
The EP carries versions by Gene Hunt, whose comment that the track reminds him of Moodymann the column quotes, and the piece notes support from Osunlade, Laurent Garnier and Alex Barck of Jazzanova. The writer picks the Cycle Dub as her favourite.
“My personal favourite is the Cycle Dub version, perhaps the most lavish among the variations. This EP is in fact the first release of Cycle Records, Kinčl’s newly opened label.”
